A Little Bit About Mary
Mary was born and raised in Northport, Alabama. As a child, she was always creating stories. Even before she could write her ABC’s she scribbled her stories on brown paper bags and read them to her dolls. Now, she writes heart warming stories that put a smile on your face and a little laughter in your heart.
She now resides in Iowa with Buddy, the Duke of Doggies, who snores in his doggie bed underneath her desk as she writes.
Mary travels extensively throughout Iowa presenting writing programs at various venues. She is also an avid photographer and has won many awards and ribbons with her photos.
And when not writing or doing photography, you can find her playing music on a variety of instruments including piano, hammered and mountain dulcimer, doumbec, zils, washboard, and bones!
